In February 2013 Stella appeard in the title role of Bizet’s Carmen (Director: David McVicar) at the Royal Danish Opera Copenhagen.

"OH MY GOD for a fantastic experience!

It is now the 7th time that we see a performance of Carmen. And the 2nd time at the Royal Danish Opera. Stella Grigorian is superior and the best and most irritating and seductive Carmen we have seen so far, way to go Stella, you have our deepest admiration and respect. Your achievement shall be seen in the light of the rest of the cast fantastic performances, all together the best production of Carmen we have seen. The set and costume were in a class of its own and fantasticly made, good work Michael Vale og Sue Blane. The mucisians, the singers, the dancers and the lightning, all of it were put together to the most wonderful universe of aestethic pleasure for us who watched - BRAVO"
